Week 1: Introduction to Basic Windows Tools

– Introduction to Notepad
– Creating and saving a text file
– Editing, formatting basics (font, size, word wrap)
– Using Find, Replace, and Go To
Day 3-4: WordPad
– Difference between Notepad and WordPad
– Basic formatting: bold, italics, underline, font styles
– Inserting pictures and aligning text
– Saving in different formats (.docx, .rtf, .txt)
Day 5-6: Paint
– Introduction to Paint tools
– Drawing shapes, using brushes and colors
– Adding text to images
– Saving in different image formats (.png, .jpeg, .bmp)
Day 7: Practice & Revision
– Practice tasks (e.g., type a paragraph, draw a basic scene)
– Oral Q&A, doubts clarification
Week 2: MS Word – Part 1
Day 1-2: Basics of MS Word
– Interface and ribbon overview
– Creating and saving documents
– Basic text formatting (font, alignment, spacing)
Day 3-4: Paragraph & Page Layout
– Bullets and numbering
– Line spacing, indentation
– Page size, margins, orientation, columns
Day 5-6: Insert Options
– Inserting images, shapes, text boxes
– Headers and footers
– Page numbers, tables
Day 7: Practice Day
– Create a formatted document with headings, lists, and image

Week 3: MS Excel (Basic Level)
Day 1-2: Introduction to Excel

– Cell formatting: merge, wrap text, borders
– Basic formulas: SUM, AVERAGE, MIN, MAX
